YSR Aarogyasri Scheme 2024

A health insurance programme is called the YSR Aarogyasri Scheme. Currently, the Aarogyasri Health Care Trust is in charge of this programme. It makes it possible for families with modest incomes to receive excellent healthcare services without having to pay for them. Treatments ranging from basic procedures to critical care are covered by the Dr. YSR Aarogyasri Health Care Trust. The Chief Minister will launch an awareness campaign to answer people’s questions about how to use the program’s facilities. The awareness campaign will also urge people to download the Aarogyasri app, which would give 4.25 crore beneficiaries and 1.48 crore households detailed information about the plan. Additionally, Mr. Jagan will introduce the upgraded smart Aarogyasri cards.

Doctors and personnel can access diagnostic test findings, treatment status updates, physician suggestions, nearby hospitals, Google Map directions to those institutions, Aarogya Mitra contact numbers, and other information by logging in using a QR code contained in the Aarogyasri card. Being well-informed about the patient’s medical conditions would make it easier to administer more effective free therapy.

YSR Aarogyasri Scheme’s Claim Process for Beneficiaries

In order to get medical care, Dr. YSR Aarogyasri plan beneficiaries do not need to endure a drawn-out claim procedure. Beneficiaries receive YSR Aarogyasri Health Cards at the time of enrollment. All they have to do to get medical care at an empanelled hospital is present their health card to a Vaidya Mitra. After gathering the data from the card, he or she will start the treatment. A beneficiary can provide the YSR Aarogyasri Health Card number to the Vaidya Mitra if they do not have a YSR card. Photographing the health card is a smart idea. The Aarogyasri Trust can provide information if, in the extremely unlikely event that it is not confirmed that a patient is a recipient of the Dr. YSR Aarogyasri scheme.

YSR Aarogyasri Scheme’s Claim Process for Hospital

Pre-authorization should be obtained by the hospital before beginning any scheduled surgical procedures. Dr. YSR Aarogyasri Healthcare Trust will only pay a claim if the hospital authorities meet the following requirements:

  • The hospitals are authorised to administer treatments that are on the list of approved treatments in advance.
  • The pre-authorization limit should not exceed the amount of the claim.
  • The assertion is made as soon as feasible.
  • Photo documentation of the treatment is supplied to settle the claim.

All of the claims are settled at the Dr. YSR Aarogyasri facility. Additionally, claim intimations, claim documents, claim document reviews, and other functions can be performed using this platform. The following checks are made after a claim is received:

  • The patient’s identity
  • Amount of claim relative to the approved amount
  • Proof of the Treatment
  • Case handling in accordance with prior approval
