India has become one of the 135 countries to make education a fundamental right of every child. In India, every child has the right to get free and compulsory education for 6 to 14 years of age under the Right to education act. This act came into force on 1st April 2010. Under this act, all private schools are required to reserve 25% of seats for children who belong to the economically backward category. Every year in every state of the country admissions is provided for this 25% of seats under RTE admission. In Uttar Pradesh also UP RTE admission is provided to all the beneficiaries so that each and every child of the state is able to get free and compulsory education.

Objective Of RTE UP Admission
The main objective of UP RTE admission is to provide free and compulsory education to all the children of Uttar Pradesh who are not able to get an education due to weak financial conditions. Under this scheme, 25% of seats are reserved in all the private schools for economically backward category students. So that no students are deprived of getting an education. With the implementation of this scheme, students will not be required to depend on anyone for getting an education. This scheme will also improve the standard of living of the children. Literacy rates among economically backward class categories will also be improved.
