During the Telangana Jana Garjana meeting in Khammam, Congress leader  Rahul Gandhi announced the start of the Cheyutha Yojana. During the conference, he declared that Telangana’s pension programme will begin if the Congress party wins the next assembly elections. A pension of Rs. 4,000 per month will be given to beedi workers, widows, disabled individuals, and handloom workers, among others.

Let us inform you that the state is currently operating this kind of Aasara Pension, under which eligible citizens receive a pension of Rs. 2016. However, the Cheyutha Yojana will give the citizens Rs 4,000. The beneficiaries’ bank accounts will receive the pension amount via Direct Bank Transfer (DBT).
