  • Doctoral Studies
  • Diploma Or Certificate-Based Courses

The Undergraduate Courses

Undergraduate studies require three to five years to complete, and are also known as the bachelor’s degree. After three years of education, a student will be awarded a Bachelor’s degree in the case of streams like science, commerce, and the arts. For professional fields like pharmacy, engineering, or architecture, a student receives a bachelor’s degree after four or five years of study, accordingly. Please be aware that 10+2 years of education are the minimum prerequisite for students to enrol in an undergraduate programme.

The Post-Graduate Courses

In India, students can choose a postgraduate programme only after earning a Bachelor’s degree, also known as a Master’s degree. The subjects of the students’ choosing are studied in-depth throughout a postgraduate programme. Indian institutions and colleges typically provide postgraduate programmes that last between one and two years.

Doctoral Studies

Students who want to go deep into a subject or course and desire to enter the field of research can choose doctoral studies. Deep study or thesis work is required for doctorate degrees (PhD programmes), which can be finished in three to six years. Please be aware that a post-graduate degree is the absolute minimum prerequisite for choosing a PhD programme.

Diploma Or Certificate-Based Courses

Students who desire to study short-term regular or specialised courses should enrol in diploma programmes. The bare minimum for enrolling in such courses is 10+2 years of education.
