To register on the NVSP and have access to a range of online voter-related services, follow these steps:

  • Go to the National Voters’ Services Portal (NVSP) official website as the first step.
  • Select the “Sign-Up” link that appears in the homepage’s upper right corner.
  • Click “Continue” after entering your email address, mobile number, and captcha code.
  • After entering your last name, password, and confirmation password, click the “Request OTP” button.
  • View details of the polling booth, booth level officer, Assembly Constituency and Parliamentary constituency, Electoral Registration Officer, and other elected officers.
  • View awareness-centric information on polling processes, Electronic Voting Machines (EVM), etc.
  • Click “Verify” after entering the OTP that was delivered to your email address and cell phone.
  • You will receive a verification email and be able to register on NVSP. The following time, you can access the voter ID-related services by immediately logging into NVSP.

  • Go to the National Voters’ Services Portal (NVSP).

  • After providing your cell phone number, password, and captcha, clicks “Request OTP.”
  • After entering the OTP that was provided to your mobile device, select “Verify & Login.”

Procedure to Apply Online for a Voter ID card

If you want to apply for a voter ID card follow the steps below:

  • First, use the National Voters’ Services Portal by logging in (NVSP).
  • Select “Fill Form 6” from the “New registration for general electors” option, or, if you are an NRI, select “Fill Form 6A” from the “New registration for overseas (NRI) electors” tab.
  • Fill out Form 6 or Form 6A with all the information you have, including your date of birth, address, phone number, Aadhaar details, personal information, and declaration.
  • Click “Preview and Submit” after uploading the necessary files into the designated places.
  • Verify the information submitted and select “Submit.”

Process to verify the Status of the NVSP Portal

 To check the status of your Voter ID application online, use the links below:

  • Go to the National Voters’ Services Portal as the first step.
  • Select “Login” from the menu. Enter your password, captcha code, mobile number, and OTP to log in.
  • Click the “Track Application Status” tab after logging in.
  • After choosing your state and entering the reference number you were given when submitting Form 6 or Form 6A, click “Submit.”
  • The status of voter registration will be shown on the screen.

How can I Download My Voter ID card?

The steps to download your voter ID card are as follows:

  • Go to the National Voters’ Services Portal as the first step.
  • Select “Login” from the menu. Enter your password, captcha code, mobile number, and OTP to log in.
  • Click the “E-EPIC Download” tab after logging in.
  • Choose either “EPIC No.” or “Form Reference no.”
  • Click “Search,” enter the EPIC number or Form Reference number, and choose the state.
  • The data of the voter ID will appear on the screen. Select “Send OTP” from the menu.
  • Please be aware that the “Send OTP” button won’t work if your mobile number hasn’t been changed.
  • Type in your OTP and select “Verify.”

To download the Voter ID card, click the “Download e-EPIC” button.

  • Go to the National Voters’ Services Portal in step one.
  • Select the tab labelled “Search in Electoral Roll.”
  • Choose “Search by Details,” “Search by EPIC,” or “Search by Mobile” from the available options.
  • Click “Search” after entering the necessary data.
  • Your data will appear on the screen if your name appears on the voter list or electoral roll. You can verify the accuracy of your information by selecting “View Details” located in the “Action” column.

You must register with the NVSP to verify if your name appears on the Voter List, update any incorrect information on your Voter ID card, obtain an e-EPIC card, and other benefits.
