Objectives of Scheme

The government recognized the imperative need to shift towards sustainable and chemical-free agriculture practices. The government believed that the general fertility and health of the soil had declined as a result of the careless application of chemical pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers, which had a negative impact on the population of beneficial soil microbes. So, keeping these factors in mind, Tamil Nadu government launched a scheme which will help in maintaining the quality of soil and hence prevent it from degrading.
