Offline Registrations Process for KV Admission

Offline registration and admission for the second class are now open and run through April 10. Because not everyone is aware of the admission process and steps, KVS has introduced a new and updated admission portal for each of the 1,254 KVS schools across the nation. This portal will make it easier for you to apply for admission and streamline the registration and admissions process. With the new portal, a parent or student can conveniently access the admissions process.

Confirmation of Approval of Admission

This is the formal acceptance letter from the institution. On the precise day that the results are made public, participants will get their results through registered mail. Depending on the school’s policies, it can arrive the next day or later.

School Notice Board

Those who passed will have their exam numbers posted on the campus bulletin board. Examinees who reside far away will have to face the time and cost strain, even though using alternative methods has the advantage of assuring results at the time of declaration.

Online Declaration

Many schools have created platforms that allow you to examine your results on the school’s website or on a separate website. Because results can be viewed on a computer, laptop, and smartphone, distant applicants can review their findings immediately and go forward with online admissions. However, due to access issues, it can be impossible to sign up during the announcement period.

Admission and Selection Procedure

For Class 1:

  • RTE will have 25% of the seats, SC will have 15%, ST will have 7.5%, and OBC-NCL will have 27%.
  • If there are more applications than seats available, selection is usually made by lottery.
  • There were no entrance exams for Classes II and VIII, and the available seats were filled from within the class.

For Class IX and XI

  • After considering KVS and CBSE students, State Boards, ICSE, and NIO students will be considered if openings arise.

For Classes X and XII

New admissions are contingent upon space being available.

Procedure for Selection

  • Class 1: Lottery system in case of more applications than vacancies
  • Class 2 and beyond: Children of government officials get priority, followed by others depending on seat availability.
  • Class 9 and 11: If seats are still available following KVS/CBSE admissions, State Boards, ICSE, and NIO students will be given consideration.
