The Himachal Pradesh government has created an online site called ‘Himbhoomi’ to store and display digital property records, allowing landowners, locals, stakeholders, and others interested in accessing state land properties remotely to ensure authenticity.   • To proceed, select your district, tehsil, village, and jamabandi year, then enter the captcha code. Also, if you have already applied to land records, you just input the application number to obtain the details.
  • The screen that presently appears would request additional information. To obtain the information, select khewat (owner details), khatauni (cultivators’ details), or khasra (plot details).
  • It is worth noting that khasra or khesra relates to the plot’s account details, whereas khatauni provides information about a family’s land-holding pattern. In other words, while a specific piece of land is identified by its khasra number, khatauni refers to the details of all khasras associated with a specific person or family.
  • The new page will provide a copy of the jamabandi.
